ERROR: Invalid email address or incorrect password

    Hi.

    My site is fine. But, from yesterday. When I enter admin login page. Automatically says ‘ERROR: Invalid email address or incorrect password’. Without Enter anything. Then when I enter username and password. It’s working. But, why it’s opening with ‘ERROR: Invalid email address or incorrect password’ this message? M using limit login plugin and using Google captcha to protect.

    Note : Same time. If I use front end login page. It’s fine. There are no any error message. M afraid. Can you please help me ?

    No. I didn’t connected jetpack for this website. And also everything was fine and now this is the issue. Just wanna know common reason.

    There is no common reason. Any error occurring on a particular site, is caused by something specific on that site, so you need to look at how that site is set up to find the cause.

    As this is not for a site hosted on WordPress.com, we cannot help you with this – on WordPress.com logins are account-specific, not site-specific. So please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    If you’re using plugins to modify how logins on your site work, contacting support for those plugins directly would be better.
