I receive this message when I try and login to my website ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ I don’t see any email regarding this message and I’m unsure how to rectify it.

Hey there, can you send the error and a link to the site?
If the site isn’t hosted with us, we most likely can’t help much. And if you’re not sure, we can tell you if we know the site link.
If you know the site is not hosted here, here are a few ideas:
– Check to see if you have an admin email with clues
– Ask your host to check error logs
– If this happened with a recent theme or plugin update or install, you can manually remove one like so (especially if it’s mentioned in errors):
https://wordpress.org/support/article/managing-plugins/#manual-uninstallation– Ask your host to help you restore a good backup
Going forward, you’ll also want to use the correct forums for self-managed installations:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/Or, you’d be welcome to migrate your site to our services once this is resolved, so we can provide direct support going forward. All of our paid plans include hosting, support, maintenance, SSL, and more. You can find our pricing here:

I don’t know how to post an image, but the error message reads:
“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”
My website URL is gabriellaquille.com

It looks like your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted at Bluehost.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
You should reach out to your host for help with this. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the ones who can best help you here. https://www.bluehost.com/contact
