I keep getting error messages when I try to upload photographs to my blog

Everytime I try to upload a photograph I receive a message that an error has occured and that I cannot upload the pix at this time.

What exactly does the error message state please – word for word?

The message I get is

An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

I started receiving it about a week ago … its happened in the past and then suddenly “healed” itself! Thanks

Hi @dalsells,

Just to confirm, when you say “healed itself”, are you no longer experiencing this error message?

If you are still having trouble, could you let me know what browser and browser version you’re using?

Sorry for the delay in responding. No the “healing” occurred about 8 months ago … my browser is firefox (most recent version) … I have also tried to upload photos using Internet Explorer … and, have been unsuccessful with both. Thank you for responding.

Hi!

Just to confirm, you’re using Firefox 33.0 correct? I only ask because it just recently came out as far as I know.

Also, can you try using the browser uploader and see if that presents the same error? From your Dashboard, click Media -> Add New. From that next page, use the “Browser Uploader” link at the bottom of the box. Please let me know if you experience any more success with that method!

Hey.
Oh, I’m sorry … I have the version prior to the 33.0. I just tried uploading a photo from my computer from work (which has an even older version of Foxfire) and I still get the same message. I will give your suggestion a shot tonight. Thanks so much.

I’m experiencing an error also – my error is when I try to publish a new blog even if it is not with an attached photo. It is saying… “An error occurred while saving the post. User can not edit posts”
Does anyone have any insight on what can be done to fix this??
