Error message – 400 Request Header
-
Hello. I tried to do a Preview of a blog post (in private mode) and I got the message: ‘400 Bad Request. Request Header or Cookie too large. nginx.’ I logged out and tried to log back in but I cannot as I get the message again. The same thing happened to me on a different blog posting a few days ago. I’ve been using my WordPress blog site, doing the same kind of blogs, for about 7 years and i never remember getting this message before. Can you tell me why this is happening? Thank you in advance for your attention.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Can you please let me know what browser are you using and what version? Here’s how to find that information:
Thanks!

This error is possibly due to a corrupt cookie. Can you please clear Chrome’s cache and cookie and let me know if it happens again?

That appears to have worked. Thank you for your help. ‘fstat’!
I’m just surprised that after completing the steps to clear cache and cookies per the links you sent, my logins and passwords (for WordPress site, for bank card, etc) are still saved. Is this normal? I expected to have to fill those in anew…
Anyway, thank you for solving my WP issue.

That’s great!
As for your passwords, you either didn’t check the box to clear them or you have enabled Chrome’s syncing feature that stores them in your Google account.
