Error message

    Hi, I have been working away on my website (loveretford.co.uk) and then suddenly I am unable to work on in/edit it/sign in to it etc. I originally had a site I was playing with to learn the ropes, which I then deleted to start a new theme. This old site appears to be still in existence and I can’t get to my new site. I was previously able to view it live from another laptop (suggesting it was online) but now I can’t and keep getting the following:

    Error establishing a database connection

    I’m hoping this is a glitch and the site and work is saved? I have spend hours building it and was very happy with it. I have one page of my site open but cannot move off of it so something is not right.

    Please can you advise?!

    http://loveretford.co.uk/ is not hosted by wordpress.COM and you cannot be referring a wordpress.COM hosted blog because that is a wordpress.ORG error message.

    We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites and that one is not among them. Our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

    Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin.

    You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.     As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
