Error Message

  I tried following a blog today and I am continuing to receive the error message ‘Your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address.’ But, this is my correct email. Can any one help me, please?

  Disappointed to read that you’re unable to follow a blog – that’s one of my fav. features of WordPress. :)

  Can you share the link of the blog that you were hoping to follow?

  Were you logged in through your WordPress.com account or did you input your email address when requested. If you weren’t logged into your WordPress.com account, you would need to first verify that email address before it’ll let you follow the blog. See more at – https://en.support.wordpress.com/following/

  Extra info:
  There is a similar support question from two years ago (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/your-subscription-did-not-succeed-please-try-again-with-a-valid-email?replies=2) that had the same error. You may want to try to update your email address here – https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/.

  As well, did you perhaps try to follow multiple blogs today? From this much more recent thread – https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/it-wont-let-me-follow-more-blogs?replies=4

  Did you follow a large number of sites in a short period of time? That could be perceived as behavior that spammers use.

  Let us know if either any of these solves the issues and if not, share the blog that you want to follow and we’ll go from there. :)
