error message for refreshing Linked in

Hello, am being asked in my wordpress posts to refresh the Linkedin profile, but when i try i get the error message ‘There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again’ – was getting this error yesterday also

Hi Dax,
Let’s try removing the WordPress authorization from LinkedIn and reconnecting.
Visit the “Manage Privacy and Settings” page on LinkedIn here:
https://www.linkedin.com/settings/?trk=nav_account_sub_nav_settings
Near the bottom, click on Groups, Companies & Applications. (Looks like this)
Then click “View Your Applications”
Do you see WordPress.com listed there? If so, remove it. Then try out the connection again from WordPress.com.
