Error message in connecting domain

I have an error message showing under domains. It says that my connecting domain is pending and under status it says error! go to setup
Is this because it is still connecting and I just need to be patient or is there something else I need to do as there is an error – I have been waiting for my websire culturecatalystconsulting.10 to go live for over 48 hours now. Thanks Emma

additional note – when I do to ‘go to setup’ it says I can not transfer my doamin as it is already connected

Your site http://culturecatalystconsulting.io/ is up and running. According to https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/https://culturecatalystconsulting.io that site is in no way connected to the wordpress.com platform
You must contact your hosting provider which is Squarespace

What do you mean with “your site”? Your site shows “We’re under construction. Please check back for an update soon.” That has been set by Squarespace, so again you must contact your hosting provider which is Squarespace.

I have contacted square space and they have given me an authorisation code now to share with wordpress but I don’t know how to share it to link the domain to my word press website – do you know?

Just for clarity – I bought my domain in Google which automatically links to Squarespace but I built my website in WordPress so now i want to transfer my domian name from squarespace to wordpress.

I can confirm the http://culturecatalystconsulting.io/ domain is correctly connected. However, it needed our SSL certificate, which I just provisioned.
In order to transfer the domain, you’ll want to make sure it meets the requirements of the three bullet points at https://wordpress.com/support/domains/incoming-domain-transfer/#step-1-verify-your-domain-is-eligible-for-transfer.
If it does, you can proceed to transfer the domain to us. If the domain is not eligible for transfer just yet, the domain can point to the site here via the domain connection you’ve set up.
