Error Message: "Sorry, the customizing tools did not load correctly"

I have tried to load the customizer in three different browsers (chrome, safari and firefox) and get the same message: “Sorry, the customizing tools did not load correctly.” This has happened about a dozen times. Is the error on your end?

I have a the twin problem. “Sorry, the customizing tools did not load correctly.” and a water snake Lochness monster looking thing
I can only get it to work slightly on my tablet. I assume I need to update something but I have no idea what.

thanks freestyler (freestyle queen). All I had to do was open and work in an incognito window in chrome.

I don’t know of an internal issue that would explain the problem you are describing. Browser issues, especially using an old browser (like justjennifer suggested) could be in play. A poor internet connection could also cause this problem.
