Error message when trying to log on to wordpress

  Sorry, I am a complete novice at this. When I type in http://www.wordpress.com I get a message that the security certificate has expired and there is a risk etc. From what I have read. trying to sort this out myself, this is a common problem but for various reasons. Where should I be looking to try and find what is causing this.
  I have been setting up a blog for the last few days and have had no problems until today.
  I am using a friends computer at the moment to send this to you as I did not want to log in on my computer.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
