Error message when trying to upload blog to wordpress

  Hi there,

  I’m having trouble uploading a blog post to my blog. I use a desktop publishing tool (BlogStomp) that posts via WordPress’s XMLRPC API.

  I’m getting a 403 error when uploading to xmlrpc.php, can you please help me resolve this?

  Hi Claire,

  Welcome to the forums! :)

  I can see that the xmlrpc.php file is accessible and provides the correct message when accessed directly at https://funtobeyounguk.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php.

  I’m not familiar with BlogStomp, however, the first thing I would suggest is double checking all of the settings, looking for hidden typos and unexpected spaces.
