Error message when uploading image

Hi, I’m trying to upload photos into my blog from the desktop of my MacBook, but every time I do so, I get an error message saying the file is empty, and please upload something more substantial. The images are 2.6MB jpegs, uploaded into iPhoto from my camera, then copied onto the desktop. I have tried several times with several different images, I have tried drag and drop, I have tried selecting the image using the select button, I have tried quitting out of WordPress, but nothing works. I don’t have this problem using my desktop iMac. Any suggestions for solving the problem so I can post when I’m away from home? Thanks, Kate

Make sure your PNG is in the sRGB color profile. Other suggestions here

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, none of the suggestions solve the problem. The image files are comparatively small, they are in the correct format, the file names are suitable and my connection is not particularly slow. I’m wondering if it’s a compatibility issue (the laptop is quite old), and my next step will be to consult Apple.

Please give us an example of some filenames you’ve tried to upload.

Also, how much room do you have left in your media library?
