On Chrome, I can log in , but get this error message at top of my homepage:

Notice: Undefined index: post_type in /home/customer/www/stargatepyramids.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/update-alt-attribute/incl/media_custom_alt.php on line 150

  • Hi there,

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

Please contact support for the update-alt-attribute plugin, which according to that error message is what’s causing this, directly for help.

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/update-alt-attribute/

General support for your version of WordPress is provided at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

I have the site, tfsainvestmentletter.com, and when I put that url into browser, get an error message for the first time today.

Get this message starting today… however I apparently can log into it as administrator.

  • That’s a very different error, but overall the same recommendation.

That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
