Error messages when I try to invite students as editors

Hello, I am a professor trying to invite students to join the WordPress site as editors so they can post their assignments. I have done this for years, but for some reason I keep getting messages saying “Sorry, we couldn’t process your invitations.” I am sending these out individually, but still not working. Would appreciate any help to resolve this.

Thanks for letting us know. We have made the necessary changes.
It looks like you are adding a good group of users and then removing them periodically. When that happens, our systems can sometimes flag the activity as suspicious.
But there is no problem at all with what you are doing and you can invite people again.
If our system flags this activity again in the future, just let us know and we can reset things for you.

I appreciate your getting back to me, but I just tried adding students and I get the same message.
Is there something else that needs to be done on your end or mine. Please inform.
