Error migrating from WordPress 6.1.1 to 6.2
-
I’m trying to migrate my WordPress site from v6.1.1 to v6.2, but after the decompressing process begin, I’m getting the following error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 2147483648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 90112 bytes) in D:xampphtdocsarchivowp-includesformatting.php on line 2770
I ‘ve disabled all my plugins, changed de max memory usage to 2048M in php.ini, wp-config and .htaccess files. I can see in the Windows process manager that the apache process take over 2 GB of ram and then the error appear in the wordpress control panel.
Thanks for any help.

Hi @rowenfcub, could you send a link to the site?
These forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com, vs. sites using WordPress code with another host. We usually take care of version upgrades for our users. If you’re not sure about your site, send a link, and we can point you in the right direction.
If it is definitely hosted somewhere else, we’d recommend contacting your host first. You might also try deactivating some plugins prior to upgrading. Then, try searching and posting in the forums for the free WordPress software if you need more help: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Hoping this helps!

Sorry, I thought this was a general forum for wordpress support. My website is hosted in a private local server.

Hi there, @rowenfcub!
Thanks for confirming. As mentioned, we can only offer support for sites hosted here with us at WordPress.com.
Should you need help with your self-hosted WordPress site, you will want to contact your host.
