Error msg says NS records are not configured but they actually already are

  I’ve got a problem re-establishing my emails because my Domain registration had expired. This has now been reinstated as have the MX records. However although my DNS records show the NS points to WordPress, I keep getting an error message saying that they’ve not been configured. I’ve tried talking to the third party domain registration company Wild West Domains to double check but they say they don’t hold the records and can’t help me. And because I can’t receive emails I’m struggling to resolve this. Frustrating!
