This is regarding http://www.janehayesconsulting.com.au. We updated plug-ins from the WordPress.com site – on the Plug-ins page selected from the left hand menu – and then by hitting ‘Update All’ on the page. An error screen then came up which stated the following message:
‘

Hi there,
There are two different versions of WordPress.
These forums only provide support for the WordPress.com version; your site appears to use the self-hosted version from WordPress.org.
If you need support for a self-hosted site, please try posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.
[Tip: the error message you’re receiving is due to your site running an old version of php which one of your plugins doesn’t support. Either a) contact your host and ask them to update the version of PHP being used to 5.4 or above, or b) use ftp or your hosts control panel to delete the wp-scss folder from /wp-content/plugins/]
To learn about the differences between the two versions of WordPress (.com vs.org), please see this guide.
Good luck!
