Error on naming

  Hello, We have recently changed our company name and I was going through the procedure of changing our blog name from piscespipesystems to plasticpipeshop by starting up a new one with that name, when I realized I could just rename the old one. I deleted the plasticpipeshop blog but now cannot change the old one as it says that plasticpipeshop is deleted but no longer available.

  Please advise if this will become available again after 24 hours or so?

  plasticpipeshop.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this blog.

  I’m sorry but there are no exceptions made; deleted blog URLs here are not recycled.

  That’s why 3 warnings are given and why a verification link in an email that must be clicked is sent in order to accomplish deletion.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain vis a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
