Error on page
-
Hi all,
As of this morning I am gettign the following error on page message when I try and edit a blog post – ‘tinyMCE’ is undefined.
I was updating my blog last night with no problem and have not changed any settings. This link from some time ago suggests ut might be a WordPress fault but im not sure https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/glitch-in-wordpress-system?replies=18.
Basically I cant switch between Visual and HTML. Despit the Visual tab being highlighted I cn only view my posts in HTML.
Im quite new to this – any ideas??

Ya might want to look at the responses on the thread where ya asked this very similar question :)

Yeah sorry, thought I needed to be a bit more specific and as my query was OT started a new thread. Thanks for the advice though I will give it a try.

Well, it looks like others are having similar problems, so there might be something bigger going on :)

I’m having the exact same issue…I like to be able to switch between Visual & HTML when I write/edit my posts, and it’s not letting me click from one to the other…it just says “error on page”. I hope it gets fixed soon! Thanks for posting this.

Just posted this on the other thread
“Im really new to this so forive me for posting again. Since my last post everything has been fine I left it for a while and when I came back everything was working correctly. This morning I uploaded a photo, added a caption, all fine. Now I have come to change the caption and am getting the same bloody error message from yesterday. This time I can witch between visual and HTML no problem, I just cant edit one caption on one photo.
As I say I am new; am I doning somthing dumb or is this a regular gripe with WordPress? If so fine, I will switch off and wait?”
And yes, I know the spellig is awful – it’s using a crap laptop keyboard honest!
