Error opening my site that says ‘connection not private’

    Hello, I used to have a site on wordpress and have deleted it a while go. I was setting up my domain on a different service and it keeps showing the ‘your connection is not private’ message and says that the ‘The server could not prove that it is <my url> because the security certificate is from *.wordpress.com. How do I remove that mapping or connection to wordpress?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    I do not see any sites under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
