Error: Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection

Hello there,

I get an error to use my WordPress.com account (especially ‘My site’ page). This problem I didn’t have before. The error I get is ‘Error: Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection, wp-admin’ and it’s only if I want to see My site page, but I can log in fine and I can see the leader page fine.

Kindly help me.

Hi @msilikale, that site is connected to another account. And this account has an old Jetpack site on it that seems to be disconnected currently.

First, do you want us to go ahead and disconnect the Jetpack site for you?

And then, can you log out and log in with the account you used to create the other site? Here’s how you can recover access if needed:

The Jetpack site that was connected is already deleted (Doesn’t exist now). So, please go ahead and help me to disconnect the Jetpack site for me.

I have logged out and logged in and now it seems to work.

That’s because you’re now logged into a different account, msilikalemsilanga. That’s the account that owns https://msilikalemsilanga.wordpress.com/

You were previously posting here as msilikale, which is a different account, and that’s the account that owns the disconnected Jetpack site. I’ve gone ahead and removed the site from that other account.
