"Error processing" message when exporting files

    I followed the directions to create a backup of my blog (really, to export it to an XML file). But at the bottom of the page I get this, which makes me unsure if I’ve done it properly:

    The operation completed successfully. Error processing resource ‘file:///C:/Users/Glenn Wallis/Downloads/speculativenon-bud…

    I don’t actually want to export my blog; I just want to have a backup. The XML file is 3.8 MB. That can’t be the entire blog, can it?
