Error trying to embed Google Maps

    Hi I get this message when I “view page” after trying to embed Google Maps ( on text mode)

    “The Google Maps API server rejected your request. Invalid request. Invalid ‘pb’ parameter”

    Please help. Tom (Responsive Theme, using WordPress.com)

    Hi there. I think the error is on Google’s side. I checked your address on your website and if I try to embed a map of the same address I get the same error. However, if I embed a map for 65 Park Parade, it embeds just fine.

    I suggest you contact Google Maps support to find out why the map won’t embed for your address.

    The map does display for your address when using the Contact Info Widget, so you might consider using that instead of a page. The widget has the benefit of being visible on all your pages, depending on how you set it up.

    It worked. I had to use my business name in the search, to pinpoint my address.?. Weird but it worked. Thanks

    I’m glad you got it working. If I had to take a stab in the dark I’d guess because you have your business specifically listed for that address in Google Maps you have to use the business name rather than the street address, but I could be completely wrong :)
