Error uploading images

Hi, I have this issue: whenever I’m trying to upload an image with the multiple file uploader, the image gets stuck around 50-60%, and nothing happens. After waiting for about one hour (the file was a 230KB jpg, nothing serious), I closed the page and relaunched it.
I’ve then tried with the browser uploader, which gives me back “HTTP Error” (no error numbers nor anything).I’ve tried with Chrome and with Firefox (Internet Explorer doesn’t even open the page!), and I’ve already tried deleting the cache and history of both, from their menus but also manually.
I’ve tried from two different PCs, so it’s not something related to the machine itself.
This is happening both with jpg files saved for web with Photoshop, and with jpg files taken “as is” from the camera.

Are you still facing this problem? I just uploaded some images onto my blog yesterday, and they managed to upload just fine.

I was checking just now.
Yesterday I uploaded some images without problems, and today also (just particularly slow today).
