  trying to upgrade my URL to make it personal and received “error validating domain name” after putting in payment information

  Thanks for the quick response! The domain name I am trying to register is “alexsheaproductions.com”

  Hi there!

  Ok good news: alexsheaproductions.com is available for purchase.

  You mentioned that you, “received “error validating domain name” after putting in payment information.” The thing is, as you already purchased a Premium upgrade, you shouldn’t have to pay for the domain. As long as it’s connected to your site alexsheaproduction.wordpress.com, you shouldn’t have a problem.

  Please go to the following link to register your domain:
  https://alexsheaproduction.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

  Click Register a New Domain Name, and work through the steps from there.

  Hmm after entering in my information, it brought me to a page asking me to purchase the domain of $26. At the top of this page is where it says “Error Validating Domain credit”
