Error when Connecting Social Accounts

Hello,
Whenever I try to add a social account from Jetpack / WordPress.com account, I end up with an error:
‘500 status code for ‘POST /sites/127398196/publicize-connections/new’
I have not been able to connect Facebook or Twitter successfully yet.
Can you please help us with this issue?

@miamibeefco can you confirm which WordPress site you are trying to connect, and also send a link to the page you’re trying to connect from?

Page I’m trying to connect from: https://wordpress.com/sharing/miamibeef.com
When I click “Connect your social media accounts” from the WordPress JetPack plugin settings page, I get directed to “https://wordpress.com/sharing/miamibeef.com” and an error is immediately prompted: “There was an error retrieving your site settings.
Make sure your Jetpack is up to date”. JetPack is up to date.Then when I proceed to try to connect a social account, I end up receiving the ‘500 status code for ‘POST /sites/127398196/publicize-connections/new’ as originally noted.

Hi @miamibeefco, it looks like your Jetpack isn’t connected properly, actually. Can you try disconnecting and reconnecting? I’m getting a “transport error” when I try to test your connection: “Error (-32300): transport error – HTTP status code was not 200”
Please also check with your host to see if they’re restricting xmlrpc.php and whether they need to make some exception.
