Error when I try to save a page

    Hello,

    I have been having trouble with my WordPress website the past few days. I keep getting an error every time I try to save changes to one of my pages. It’s only one specific page that is giving me an error when I try to save any changes. Even if I don’t make any changes to the page and just click the “Update” button, it generates the same error. I have been able to save changes on this page in the past, but now it won’t let me. All the other pages on the website are saving without error. Note: the page is loading just fine on the front-end.

    This is the error I am receiving when I click the “Update” button:
    An error has occurred while saving your page. Various problems can cause a save to fail, such as a lack of server resources, firewall blockages, plugin conflicts or server misconfiguration. You can try saving again by clicking Try Again, or you can download a backup of your unsaved page by clicking Download Backup. Backups can be restored using the portability system while next editing your page.

    Contacting your host and asking them to increase the following PHP variables may help: memory_limit, max_execution_time, upload_max_filesize, post_max_size, max_input_time, max_input_vars. In addition, auditing your firewall error log (such as ModSecurity) may reveal false positives that are preventing saves from completing.

    Lastly, it is recommended that you temporarily disable all WordPress plugins and browser extensions and try to save again to determine if something is causing a conflict.

    My website uses WP Rocket for caching, the Divi theme, and GoDaddy for hosting.

    I have tried the following steps to resolve the problem:
    1) Clearing the WP Rocket cache for the site
    2) Clearing my browser cache
    3) Clearing my firewall cache
    4) Enabling Safe Mode in the Divi Support area.

    None of the above actions made any difference in my ability to save changes to the page. It just keeps generating the same error.

    Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

    Hey there, I’ve not seen this error, but this line stood out to me, so I searched for it:

    Backups can be restored using the portability system while next editing your page.

    It looks like this error is specific to Divi. You can find several recommendations on that page. Want to give those a try, then reach out to Divi support if you need more help?
