Error when trying to create blog

An active access token must be used create a new Site for the User.
That’s the error I am getting when I try with both IE and Chrome Browsers to create a blog…
Please help!

Please post the exact URL that you are trying to register here for Staff to examine.

He’s not alone. Same here. Can’t create new blog because of this error. Tried suggestion in thread of same subject from a month ago: log out and in, delete cookies and try but nothing. Useless. Gotta get this under control WP. This has been going on for way too long.

The one I am trying to create (and it says its available) is : justbreathemama.wordpress.com
It is getting caught up on step 2 of 3 with that error message! I have also tried to log out and in, delete cookies but to no avail.

That site isn’t available. It’s been deleted, and the address cannot be registered again.
Can you try using a different site address? If you register a domain, you might be able to get a very similar name.

I have tried it with even adding random letters and numbers to the end and I get the same error so that’s clearly not the issue.

@janellemenzieshotmailcom: It looks like you have multiple accounts here? If so, can you try creating the blog or site under a different account?

I have and neither has worked. I get the same error even if I type in a gibberish name….

Just to be sure I’m clear on this, are you trying to create a different site under the same account, or have you tried to create that same site using a different WordPress.com account? Accounts and sites are distinct things, so I want to be sure we’re on the same page.

I have tried all of it. I have tried the same account name and I have literally typed in “dhfufguygfuib” to try and see if anything will work… and it doesn’t for me on either browser under either username.
