Error when updating my WordPress email

  I want to update my email address is WordPress to my business domain email..which I created through Siteground. I went into my settings in WordPress and changed the email to my domain email. I got an email with a link to confirm the email, but I keep getting an error message saying there was an error saving the email and to try again later.
  I only have one email associated with WordPress.

  Help!

  Are you talking about the email address of your WordPress.com account or are you referring to WordPress.org?
