error when upgrading to WordPress 5.7

When I try to upgrade to the newest version, I get the following error:
Warning: chmod(): Operation not permitted in /home/oceans9/even28.com/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 173
Does anyone know how I can configure this line to fix this error? Thank you.
