Error while uploading image

  I have recently uploaded wordpress 3.3. I got a problem while uploading images in post. When I upload a image it shows ” Image data doesn’t exists”. Also I tried to transfer through FTP, but it wasn’t detected in Media Library. I am not able to figure out where the problem actually is. I had a very good experience with previous version i.e., 3.1.3. I am using this updated version (3.3) on a new domain. Please suggest me of how to tackle this problem.
