Hi there, @teamhammerrealtors!
The site hammersellstampa.com appears to have been a self-hosted, WordPress (also called “.org”) site.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. For more information, please see:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
However, it is possible that your old host has a backup of your site they might be able to help you restore.
You will want to contact your hosting support team for direct assistance.

Assuming I am able to request the backup of the site, how can i transfer it to the.com website so that I do not have to worry about this happening again?

Hi there, @teamhammerrealtors!
Yes, you can absolutely migrate your site to WordPress.com. We would love to have you join us here at WordPress.com.
We offer the best WordPress hosting here at WordPress.com. WordPress.com has real-time multi-datacenter replication and failover, high frequency CPUs, fast SSDs, full plugin and theme auto-update, the best security, and 24/7 livechat support.
Once you restore your site, we have a plugin that you can use to migrate your site to WordPress.com. Here is a guide on how to use that plugin:
The Move to WordPress.com plugin allows you to start migrating a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com directly from the self-hosted site. Prerequisites The Move to WordPress.com plugin installed on your self-hosted WordPress site. Jetpack version 7.9 or higher activated on the self-hosted site. All incompatible plugins deactivated on the self-hosted site. ✅ ThDuring the migration process, you will be given the option to migrate everything. A WordPress.com Business plan is recommended so you can keep your site’s design and content.
