‘ERROR – invalid FB url.’ THIS SHOWS ON MY POSTS!! HOWEVER, my plug-in ‘connection’ to FB works fine. WILL YOU PLEASE REMOVE THE MESSAGE? (my computer ‘lingo’ and ability is akin to a kinder-gartner in understanding.

Posting more than once about the same issue makes it difficult to keep track of progress. If you need to find your earlier forum threads, you can click on your username at the top right corner of any forum page where it says “Welcome, yourusername”

Regarding your question, if you are submitting your posts to FB automatically via Publicize, the URL of your post is submitted for you. https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/
Looking at one of your recent posts (My Heritage) I don’t see that error message. Can you take a screenshot of what you see and upload it to your site’s Media Library? Here’s how you do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

Ah! Do you mean the FB Page widget in your site’s sidebar? https://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-integration/#facebook-page-plugin
What is the URL of your FB Page (not profile)? The page does need to be public on FB for it to appear in the widget.
