Errors after changing the blog name

  Dear Sirs
  1) two day ago I created a blog:
  museomirabello
  [edit: removed sensitive information]

  2) Yesterday
  2a) I changed the blog name to
  ilmuseodimirabello
  [edit: removed sensitive information]

  Now I cannot access the blog any longer.
  Logging in as “ilmuseodimirabello” [edit: removed sensitive information] I got the home page, with the last post “Museo della civiltà contadina – Rodolfo e Luigi Sessa”.
  When clicking on any item of the upper menu it works, but for home, in which case I get the message
  museomirabello.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  Moreover I can access the General setting but if I try to save runs for long and stop saying that the blog site is unreachable.

  Moreover if I try to create a blog named “ilmuseodimirabello.wordpress.com” it appears that the name is free.
  Finally, as you may see from this same form, the email address has not been change everywhere [edit: removed sensitive information]

  In conclusion, it seems that there is a bug in the procedure for changing the name of the blog and:
  1) the new blog URL is not registered
  2) some pages is still pointing to the old URL

  Could you please fix these problems or tell me how to solve them?
  Yuo can replay to either of the two email address, both are still active.

  Hi there,

  Your site is registered at http://ilmuseodimirabello.wordpress.com . I’ve verified that this address has been registered, and can’t be registered again.

  Could you tell me where it appears that it’s not registered? Keep in mind that a blog title is different from its address, and that blog titles are never reserved.

  As for (2), your “Home” link points to http://museomirabello.wordpress.com/ because that’s the URL that’s used in your custom menu item. You can edit the Home item at Appearance -> Menus to reflect the correct URL.

  You are right I confused blog title with the address.
