Errors on screen; can't upgrade Jetpack 3.3 or access plugins; all fails.
-
I’m trying to resolve errors (see below) that appear at the top of my site. WP tells me I must upgrade to Jetpack 3.3, but it won’t let me. WP won’t let me access my plugins, nor let me disconnect jetpack.
I am not sophisticated enough to edit code. There must be a simple WP fix, but I can’t find one via research.
The errors are:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/adamdaleywilson/adamwilsonmediation.com/wp-content/themes/platform/admin/class.options.metapanel.php on line 49
and
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/adamdaleywilson/adamwilsonmediation.com/wp-content/themes/platform/includes/class.layout.php:164) in /home/adamdaleywilson/adamwilsonmediation.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1207
Thank you in advance for any guidance / assistance. — A.W.

Hey there, you’ve posted your question in the forums for sites hosted on WordPress.com.
If you’ve installed jetpack, odds are you need help with a site using the standalone version of the WP software. Help for self-hosted sites can be found over at https://wordpress.org/support/
There’s a jetpack support FAQ over here: http://jetpack.me/support/
And support forum for jetpack issues here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackIf you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you’ll need to register one there.
For clarity about the difference between WP and WPcom, you might want to read this https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Best wishes
