Errors with redirection

  We have a product category called accessoires. It’s slug is also accessoires. However, when we click on the button for the category accessoires in our main menu on the website it gives a redirection error and we end up in /accessoiresa. With an added a. Where that comes from is unknown.

  I checked the slug, it is correct
  I deleted and added the category again to the menu (to be sure it has the right slug)
  Checked permalinks page, nothing strange there

  Anyone ideas?
