Escutcheon for mobile

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello! I chose the Escutcheon theme because it is simple and easy to read, I like it. I do not understand why this theme on mobile phones does not appear as installed, ie. with a dark background. Instead of gray, the background appears as white. This presents a problem when someone read the text on the blog I colored by another color. Besides, I want to be a dark background, not white. When you write an article and see the review as it seems, everything is fine. However, people who following my blog complains because on a white background can not read the text that is colored. Can you help me? I tried to adjust the settings, but I have not been able to solve this problem. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @filozofblogutopia!

It looks like you have the mobile specific theme option enabled for your site. Escutcheon is mobile friendly, so you can safely turn that off (which will make the mobile view more closely match the desktop view.

First, visit your site’s WP Admin dashboard:
    https://filozofblogutopia.wordpress.com/wp-admin

From there, open Appearance > Mobile. Then you can turn off the
    Enable mobile theme
    option.

Save your changes at the bottom of the page and you should be good to go! :)
