Esquire Theme: Adding links to the sidebar
-
How do you put links below the name of the blog in the sidebar like it is in the demo at http://esquiredemo.wordpress.com/? Is that just part of the description field or is there something I’m missing? I’ve tried adding a menu but this theme only has one widget and that’s in footer. If it had sidebar support that would be great. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

See here please > Links (blogroll > http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/
links widget > http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/add-a-blogroll-link/Note that the default display you see in the sidebar of any theme does not contain actual widgets. When you go here > Appearance > Widgets and install the widgets of your choice you will override the default display. The link to the main page of support documentation for all widgets is here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/widgets-sidebars/

I’m sorry, I meant my own page links, not blogroll links. Does that change the solution? Also, I don’t think this theme supports sidebars. It only has a space for Footer Widgets, nothing else. Is anybody else seeing this issue?

To have links on the left in the yellow area, create a custom menu and then assign that menu to the “primary location” in the theme locations module.

This is the Theme description > http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/esquire/ I loaded the theme on my test blog. It’s a tumbleblog theme and you are correct the footer is the only widget area.
