Establishing a front page that's sticky
-
I keep setting my only post as a sticky post but when I go to the main page of my blog it doesn’t show it. It says I can do a featured image but I’m doing something wrong there as well. I have been working on this one aspect for hours now with no luck. I’m losing my mind. Please help.

Do these help?
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/05/01/introduction-to-structure/
For Structure:
640×392 pixels if you’re using the option to display the featured image when viewing a single post.
620×380 pixels if you’re not using that option.
(620×380 is the size of the homepage top featured image, 640×392 is the size on the single post view; but 620×380 and 640×392 are the same aspect ratio, so the image will show up in the homepage top area in both cases). -
Please note: If the width of the Featured Image selected is less than 620 pixels, it will not appear in the Featured Posts area.

Thanks. I did suspect the pixels were a factor, but the edit function would not allow me to reduce the size of the image. I experimented with another image and it accepted it, but then the featured image was above and the image from my post was below and it looked weird. When I selected that theme, I did so because I liked how the featured image looked on the front page. I appreciate your input folks! I may just have to switch.
