Etsy Widget in Sidebar

  I would like to put an Etsy widget (Etsy calls it an “Etsy Mini”) in my sidebar to publicize my Etsy shop, but apparently that’s not allowed because of Java script issues with security. When is WordPress going to figure out some way around this? This is ridiculous. The crafting community is a huge supporter of WordPress and you are just driving us all away with this indifference.
