Even with the Custom Fonts, the results are not what I need…

Can a theme be altered by WordPress?
Hello!
I wasn’t sure who to address this to, but it is not a request to customize MY theme. It is to ask if an aspect of the current theme can be changed.I LOVE the theme, but there is one problem with it I can’t alter and I feel it is significant. It has to do with the “readability” of the page. In most themes this is not a problem, but it was a design decision made with Twenty-Eleven I feel was not all that good.
The Widget TITLES appear in regular, small font, whereas all the LINKS appear larger and bolded. This should be reversed so the titles stand out to the readers’ eyes FIRST when scanning the sidebars and the links themselves should be secondary. I was wondering if this could be changed to improve the overall effectiveness of the theme. I did previews under the “Custom Fonts” feature and it didn’t accomplish this, regardless of the font I picked :(
Thank you!

Donna, if this is the site you are talking about, http://writersideup.wordpress.com/ , and you have the custom design upgrade, then we can help you change the size and/or color of the widget titles. Add the following to your custom CSS and then edit either, or both, of the CSS declarations for size, and color as you desire.
.widget-title { color: #666666; font-size: 10px; }
