  I fit’s a dynamic calendar that uses javascript or is an iframe then you cannot use it on a wordpress.com blog. Do you have a link to a calendar that you like? https://en.forums.wordpress.com/search.php?q=calendar

  Is this just the difference between the free and pay wordpress sites? Because I can’t figure out how to do it on mine.

  Yes, the site you reference is self-hosted using the software from wordpress.org.

  I too would like to add an event calendar to my wordpress blog for a bunch of friends (http://fridaynightdrink.wordpress.com/). I would be happy to pay for such a service. Please let me know what can be done? Thank you.
