Event date and time are defaulting to current date and time

When entering a new event, the event date and time are defaulting to current date and an 8-5 time range. I’ve successfully entered other events and have mimicked the input from those events but now it keeps defaulting to current date and time range. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like you have questions about an events plugin. If so, what you will always want to do first is seek the support directly from the developers of the plugin that you have questions about. Most plugins are available from WordPress.org here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ – search for your plugin there. if you find it, look in the sidebar to the right: each plugin has its own “support forum” where the plugin creators provide help.
If you are not able to find the plugin and its support forum, search the internet to see if you can locate a contact form for the creators of the plugin. There is always a good chance they have a website.
Lastly, if you still cannot find answers, you can post to the WordPress.org support forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums – these forums are specifically for sites like you that have WordPress installed on another website host.
