  Hi! I’m working on building a new website for an event venue here in town, and I had a curious question in regards to any event management plugins on the wordpress.com platform.

  The venue does host a multitude of concerts, dances, competitions and such, and for most of the events we have promoters that handle ticket sales, so the venue does not do any ticket sales at all. I was looking at potentially using EventBrite to link our wordpress site, but since it requires that any ticket-paying events is handled through the website, it won’t help since almost every event that requires a ticket is handled through the promoter (making the event free would be pointless too, since they need to keep track of tickets anyway). So, the EventBrite idea is out.

  So, I was curious if there was another event management plugin that could work with the wordpress.com platform outside of EventBrite or Upcoming Events widgets, or am I dead in the water and should just consider moving our site to a .org platform?
