Event widget?

  I am looking to add a widget to the blog that will list events. Want to add an event name, date, locationa dn url webs link to that event so that blog visitors can add any events to this blog page called Events… thanks..

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Widgets are not posted to Pages. They can only be placed in sidebars.

  Here are some suggestions for the meanwhile:
  (1) If you wish you can create a static Page with your events listed on it and allow comments so your visitors can suggest events and you can edit the Page to add them in. If you don’t like the comments boxes idea you can use a Contact form instead. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

  (2) Also there is a workaround for using the Google Calendar http://helensnerdyblog.wordpress.com/2007/11/27/how-to-add-a-google-calendar-to-your-wordpresscom-blog-using-the-rss-widget/
