Eventbrite menu – removing or changing color on borders

    I changed the color on the menu in Eventbrite theme, but i am not able to find out how to change the borders between the menu items.

    I tried this, but it doesn’t seem to affect the vertical borders between the menu items.

    nav a, div.menu a {
    background: #69bd45;
    color: #FFFFFF;
    border-color: #69bd45;
    border-width: 0;
    }

    nav, div.menu {
    border-width: 0;
    }
