EventBrite multi event template
-
Hi,
I have set up a new WordPress site and am using the EventBrite multi event template, as advised by EventBrite. I have been able to connect to my EventBrite account successfully, but I can’t seem to set the template for the page as per the instructions as this option isn’t showing in the new version of WordPress. The instructions are here, I am stuck on step 5: https://en.support.wordpress.com/eventbrite/
I am also trying to add the EventBrite calendar widget but it is not coming up as an option in the list of widgets:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/eventbrite-event-calendarlisting-widget/Can anyone assist please?
Thanks.
Emma

Howdy!
I’m happy to help get this sorted for you.
Can you try disconnecting and reconnecting your EventBrite connection from here.
Then continue with step #5 and see if the page template option for EventBrite shows up.
You’ll find the EventBrite Widget options by starting in your Customizer. On the left, select Widgets > Primary Sidebar (or location you choose) > Type ‘Event’ into the widget search bar.

Hi!
Thanks very much for your help.
I would love to say it all worked, but unfortunately it didn’t :(
I tried disconnecting my EventBrite connection twice, the second time I even logged out of WordPress completely, but no change. Step 5 says the Page Template drop down is under “Page Options”, but I only see “Page Attributes”, which is similar and has Parent Page and Order settings, just not that pesky drop down.
And as far as the widget goes, I followed what you said but I only get the EventBrite Introduction widget (which seems to be just a text and link field) and the EventBrite Just Announced widget.
If you have any other ideas or need further info about my environment, please let me know.
I really appreciated your help!
Cheers

Hi Emma –
It’s my fault for not checking this before but it looks like you’re already using the EventBrite Multi Event Theme on goldfieldslibraries.wordpress.com which is why you are not finding the page options mentioned in step #5. This is already built into your theme.
The Calendar Listing Widget is on the right hand side. You’ll see it on your site, in the sidebar. https://goldfieldslibraries.wordpress.com/ You can toggle between list + calendar views.
This widget can be customized from wp-admin, the classic dashboard. Here’s a direct link.

Thank you thank you thank you! Your direct link was the key, I just couldn’t get to all of the options in the new interface. You’re a life saver!

Fantastic!
