Eventbrite widgets in the Eventbrite theme

Hello everyone… Eventbrite generates a handful of widgets that employ iframe which I see is stripped out. I would like to use them within the Eventbrite theme, which I am otherwise extremely happy with.

Is there another way to accomplish this in WordPress? Or is there any way to get an exception made, especially for Eventbrite? Here is a typical order form:

    <div style=”width:100%; text-align:left;” ><iframe src=”//eventbrite.com/tickets-external?eid=10617837237&ref=etckt” frameborder=”0″ height=”214″ width=”100%” vspace=”0″ hspace=”0″ marginheight=”5″ marginwidth=”5″ scrolling=”auto” allowtransparency=”true”></iframe><div style=”font-family:Helvetica, Arial; font-size:10px; padding:5px 0 5px; margin:2px; width:100%; text-align:left;” >Online event registration<span style=”color:#ddd;”> for Gift Certificate for Boston Wine School <span style=”color:#ddd;”>powered by Eventbrite</div></div>

    Thank you! Jonathon

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot post iframe widgets on WordPress.COM blogs and expect them to operate. The software strips the code out to preserve security here as this is a multiuser blogging platform. If that widget is not referred to here in the detailed themed description http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/eventbrite-multi/ then you will not be able to use it.

@bostonwineschool – As Timethief mentioned, iframe embeds are not allowed at WordPress.com as explained here:

    Add Code to Your Site

The iframe code will automatically get stripped out. I believe the widget code you entered is for ticket purchases. If that’s the case, your best bet is to link directly to Eventbrite for visitors to purchase tickets.
