Upcoming Events Calendar does not pop up on my blog….help!

if you have not scheduled any events there will be no data that can be displayed by the widget. Also know that widget data is cached and takes time to update. Are you clear on that? And, have you used this guide for set up? http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/upcoming-events/

Hi,
I have “scheduled” a test event on my calendar just to see if it would show up and it has not. I have followed the guide to set it up. -
How many hours ago did you do that?

Why aren’t my calendar changes showing up right away? Calendar .ics files aren’t updated immediately by providers such as Google Calendar, so there could be a delay because of that. In addition, WordPress.com caches the calendar data for one hour. Hi @kandyscakes,
There seems to be something wrong with the ical link you copied from Google Calendar.
Please try this part of the process again, being sure to click the green ical button to get your link.
Hopefully that will clear things up.
