Events widget doesn't work properly on certain computers

Hi,
I’ve seen topics in the forums about the events widget not working but can’t find anything on this problem specifically.
On two laptops at home (both running windows 8) the events widget only shows recurring events (some that have passed) from my Google calendar, and say they’re all occurring on the current date. This happens in both IE and Firefox.
However, on every computer I’ve tried at work (~5, all running xp) the widget reports the next 5 events on their proper dates as it should.
I’ve played with it a bit, but to be honest don’t even know where to start. Any ideas?

This sounds like a parsing issue to me, and with no access to the source code I have no idea how to investigate further. I’ve tagged the Staff about this thread and see if they can check what happens.

The events widget appears to be working properly on your blog as I look at it. Can you try clearing the browser cache on your home laptops and see if things sort out?

Hi druesome! I noticed last night that the widget was indeed working on both laptops again. I have it in my mind that this has happened before. I will keep an eye on the issue and get back to you if it happens again. Thanks for the assistance!
